Is There Some Kind Of Diet Plan To Lose Belly Fat?
i need a diet plan to lose belly fat. i already exercise enough and eat healthy but nothing works. im somewhat happy with my weight 5′4 and 118lbs. any help? tips????? diet plans that work??? i wan to weigh at least 110-112 by the end of summer. please and thanks!
Being a personal trainer I can respond in a few ways. DIET CARDIO ABS!! EAT MORE PROTEINS AND EAT 4-6 SMALLER MEALS DAILY! THAT WILL DECREASE THE AMOUNT YOU EAT AT EACH MEAL. SWEAT THROUGHOUT THE DAY. SEND ME AN E-MAIL IF YOU NEED SPECIFICS!
The current scientific understanding is that you cannot spot-reduce bodyfat, which for this question means there is no diet that will remove fat **from the belly**.
A flabby belly is typically the result of under-developed abdominal muscles and excess overall bodyfat. Different people accumulate fat in different areas, but it is the AMOUNT of fat that can be targeted, not the location. If you reduce overall bodyfat sufficiently, fat on the belly will reduce too.
You cannot lose fat unless you consume less calories than you expend – by the law of thermodynamics. There is no need for a drastic reduction in calories, however, as doing so can actually cause the body to store more fat as a survival mechanism.
Your best bet is to reduce calory intake marginally whilst maintaining exercise levels (if you say you exercise enough) and focus hard on developing the muscles in your abdominal region. Increase intake of water and fiber (both of which increase your feeling of being “full”, allowing you to eat less calories), eliminate junk food, remove needless fats (fried food, creams, pastries etc) and needless sugars (candy, sweet drinks, sugar, honey etc) for a while.
Most diets are bullshit. Eat less calories than you burn and your body WILL burn fat to compensate. Increase lean muscle mass and your body WILL become more efficient at burning calories, even at rest. Having said that, some foods have been shown to benefit fat loss (grapefruit comes to mind) but you will have more joy adhering to the general guidelines than specific diet plans.
You can not lose fat from one particluar area, by working a particluar mucsle group. Fat disribution is determined genetically. Fat lose usually occurs from areas where the most fat is stored. The best may to lose weight is to create a negative Calorific balance by expending more energy than you consume by eating a low calorie diet (1200-1500kCal/day) and exercising to burn 250kCal/day or approx 30mins moderate intensity exercise. Doing resistance exercises such as sit-ups may help tone the abdominal muscles but will not increase fat lose in this area more than any other exercie.
Central obesity, commonly referred to as belly fat, is the accumulation of fat deposited between the internal organs in the torso resulting in an increase in waist size. There is a strong correlation between central obesity and cardiovascular disease.
While central obesity can be obvious just by looking at the naked body , the severity of central obesity is determined by taking waist and hip measurements. The absolute waist circumference (>102 centimetres in men and >88 centimetres in women) and the waist-hip ratio (>0.9 for men and >0.85 for women) are both used as measures of central obesity.
Prevention
Performing adequate aerobic exercise and eating a healthy diet prevent central obesity, and losing weight via these methods is the main way to reverse the condition.
Aerobic exercise
Aerobic exercise refers to exercise that involves or improves oxygen consumption by the body. Aerobic means “with oxygen”, and refers to the use of oxygen in the body’s metabolic or energy-generating process. Many types of exercise are aerobic, and by definition are performed at moderate levels of intensity for extended periods of time. To obtain the best results, an aerobic exercise session involves a warming up period, followed by at least 20 minutes of moderate to intense exercise involving large muscle groups, and a cooling down period at the end.
Healthy diet
A healthy diet involves consuming nutrients by eating the appropriate amounts from all of the food groups, including an adequate amount of water. Since human nutrition is complex, a healthy diet may vary widely, and is subject to an individual’s genetic makeup, environment, and health. For around 20% of the human population, lack of food and malnutrition are the main impediments to healthy eating.Conversely, people in developed countries have the opposite problem; they are more concerned about obesity.

Hey. I’m 5′8” and i weigh about 120… i used to be about ten pounds heavier and then i started running. I know its tedious but really its the best way to go… and as you keep building miles the more you enjoy it..just listen to music. when you’re done with your running workout, do 2 sets of 20,20,20…my track coach is a huge fan. do 20 crunches, 20 pushups, and 20 cross overs.. this works your abs better than just doing an ab workout. Also, do the special k diet…suprisingly it works. good luck!
DIETS DON’T WORK. If you’re happy with your weight, maybe go to the gym? You could do it at home, actually. Maybe buy some videos and work out at home, but you HAVE TO DO IT. To work on the stomach area, you could lay a pillow/ball down on the floor and lay down on it (put it under your lower back) and do sit ups. Start slow and do more and more each day until you see results. You need to push yourself daily.
Hope this helps!
