Contrary to the popular series of commercials, eating sandwiches is by no means a guaranteed ticket to good health.
If you have to eat out every day, you’re pretty much hosed, especially on a grocery store employee’s income. All you can probably afford is fast food, which is not healthy.
Your best bet, then, is to make use of the store, itself.
Fresh fruit is always good to eat. Go light on the bananas and grapes, however.
There should be cut-up and packaged veggies with dip in the produce section. Buy them and eat them.
Individually wrapped string cheese, especially lower-fat mozzarella, is good to give you protein. And look for single serving packages of tuna and crackers.

Try making salads at home. Do you like soup? What about baked chicken breasts with veggies?

First, subway so called “low calories” isn’t all true. There are “hidden” calories not accounted for. For a healthy diet plan, eat within the daily recommended calories, stick to fruits and veggies, and maybe some fish, meat, and bread. Just stay away for high fat and carbs. And EXERCISE!
The food is for your health and to give you energy.
Exercise is the real way to lose extra body fat!

You can make you own egg salad. Or even try Lean Cuzines and Smart Ones.
