Wat Will Happen If Im Doing Intense Excersise On A Low/ No Carb Protein Diet?
im 51kg (112 ibs) and 5″7 ft, 16 yrs old , bmi is 17.5ish
i do 7-9 excersise sessions a week, ranging from 2-3 hours a session
sports include: bikram yoga, squad swimming, and cardio and weights gym work
my diet is high in calcium, vegatbles, fruit this is mainly what i eat. about 1 serve of protein a day (either fish, chicken or lamb) and the only carb type food i eat is oats, wild rice, weetabix no bread or pasta really but sometimes jst rye bread
i do not eat much at all – 3 straight meals a day avergae day wold b breakfast some porridge, lunch salad or vegtable soup, dinner small lamb fillet and salad
this is all recent i was just wondering what will happen to my body because of this diet/excerise plan, e.g weight loss/gain, muscle loss/ growth, etc.
thnks x
Lol i dont think people really understand what your trying to ask exactly.. there talking crap.
first of all.. bmi is aload of **** because it doesnt take into account FAT as opposed to MUSCLE, because muscle is alot denser than fat therefore muscle is heavier than fat.. so if someone was too have ALOT of muscle.. BMI would say there overweight.. so lets forget that.
7 – 9 sessions is way to much. its awesome that your trying to stay fit.. full gettting into it and stuff.. but your definately over training your body.. 2 -3 hours PER session is so un necessary.. One hour a day is MORE than enough to get the result you need.
so to answer your question.. you will lose body fat.. and you wont lose or gain any muscle.. because you dont let them recovery propelly. (overtrain)
when you train,, your tearing little micro fibres in the muscle. and your repeatedly training before your muscle even has time to heal and grow.. your jus re tearing before any sort of recovery can take place.
give your body a rest.. get alot of protein in ya.. your probably best of training every second day or if you do train everyday.. make sure your not touching the same muscle group the next day around..
as for your diet.. your eating the correct foods..
your just not doing it right.. you need to be eating atleast 6 times a day.. your probably consuming the right amount of calories.. your just waiting too long in between meals.. have 6 small meals a day.. spilt your 3 meals up. just because if you leave too much time in between meals.. your metabolism slows down because your body has nothing to digest.. what you wna do is you wna keep your metabolism working like crazy right throughout the day.. expecially being so young!
and one more thing.. maybe double the amount of protein your having.. because you said have one serving of protein..
try 2 or 3
alright kiddo.. go hard. cheers

Eat more.
Eat more protein. Eat more carbs.
Get some beef, potatoes, and pasta into you, man.
will lose fat AND muscle, protein and carbs are needed to build muscle…
Your BMI says that you are underweight, so if you are trying to be healthy you would be eating more to gain a bit more weight, not trying to lose any. By the way you seem to be sticking to your exercise and dieting, you have to be careful not to head down an eating disorder path. Carbohydrates are very important in any diet- if you are doing a bit of exercise they aren’t going to make you gain any weight. Cutting them out means you will be tired and unhealthy all the time. Apart from that, your diet seems good if you just eat a bit more! The amount of exercise you are doing seems insane to me!
